Last Monday I finally found the time to see X-Men: Origins. Y'know, the one that talks about Wolverine's past?

I'd be lying if I said I went because I really wanted to know why Wolverine became... well, Wolverine. I went because I liked Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine, because Wolverine has deadpan humor than I just loved, and because I get a kick out of watching him unsheathe his claws. After sitting through the whole thing, I decided on several things:

HOW MANY RELEASE FORMS DOES HE HAVE!?

Reading Bleach chapter 374 almost gave me a massive heart attack. As an Ulquiorra fan, I already drooled bucketfuls over his Resurrecion, but THIS...

Honestly? Ulquiorra kindda reminds me of Byakuya. Their cool demeanour, callous treatment of subordinates and being rigid to the point of being ridiculous parallels so well I can't help wish Ulquiorra would end like Byakuya... on the good guys' side.

The recent chapters seem to be an indication of his crumbling will. First Orihime made him question the intangible, then Ichigo's stubbornness made him lose his cool. Enough to the point where he's released his second form not because he even needed to (I think even in Murcielago he can kick Ichigo's ass back to Karakura) but because he was so pissed off by Ichigo that he needed to squash Ichigo's will once and for all.

And what a form.

Murcielago retained some of his human form by being symmetrical and neat, as Ulquiorra is (did you know he actually went to change first after the first fight with Ichigo before going to check up on Orihime?). His second release is downright animalistic. He looks like a vampire. Like the ending line, what the hell is this!?. Kubo Tite took away everything that defined Ulquiorra and gave him a Beast-like appearance, right down to the claws. If it's not worse, he looks even sadder than before.

Can't help wondering; when he told Ichigo he was going to show the Deathberry true despair, did he also mean his expression?
